24:15 Ministry Expands Its Presence in North Carolina

Dr. Rafael Gutiérrez, founder and director of 24:15 Ministry, served as a guest speaker at the men’s retreat hosted by La Voz de la Esperanza Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Friday and Saturday, September 4–5. During the gathering, 36 men were challenged to walk in obedience to God and faithfully embrace their spiritual responsibility in the home.

On Sunday, September 6, Dr. Gutiérrez also preached God’s Word during the church’s worship service.

As a result of this visit, conversations have begun about returning next year and organizing additional gatherings in partnership with several churches. Furthermore, 24:15 Ministry continues working with the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina to expand its presence throughout the state and equip more fathers and churches.

We thank God for opening new doors to continue restoring fathers, strengthening families, and transforming generations.

Rafael (Rafy) Gutierrez serves as the guest speaker at Family Conference in Peru

July 10, 2026

LIMA, PERU — From June 11–14, Dr. Rafael (Rafy) Gutierrez, Founder and Director of 24:15 Ministry, served as the guest speaker at the Family Conference, “Families After God’s Own Heart,” hosted by Iglesia Alianza Cristiana y Misionera (IACM) in Lince, Peru.

During the event, Gutierrez presented a series of conferences focused on strengthening families through a biblical perspective. Topics included The Genesis of the Family, Parents and Technology, Absent Fathers – Wounded Children, Marriage: Emotions or Commitment?, and The Family as the Salt and Light of the Earth.

The eight conferences and two preachings, emphasized the home as the primary place of spiritual formation, the role of fathers as the first leaders of their children, and the challenges Christian families face in a culture shaped by rapid technological change, social pressures, and moral confusion.

In addition to the sessions held at the IACM Church in Lince, the ministry also had opportunities to share some of the biblical principles mentioned with congregations in Villa El Salvador and San Miguel, extending the reach of the teaching to families and church leaders in those communities.

Attendees responded positively, expressing a strong desire to strengthen marriages, restore relationships between parents and children, and cultivate a faith that is practiced daily in the home. The conferences also included times of reflection and discussion on the responsibility of Christian families to influence their communities and future generations for Christ.

Gutierrez’s participation in Peru is part of the ongoing mission of 24:15 Ministry to equip fathers and families to live out the commitment of Joshua 24:15: “But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Real Stories of 24:15 Impact

Jorge Carrillo, Pastor-Iglesia Hispana Angular, Farmers Branch, Texas

In the times we live in, manhood and fatherhood are under constant attack. As a pastor, I see firsthand how today's prevailing ideologies, rather than strengthening families, often end up weakening them and driving them apart.
Now more than ever, fathers must return to the biblical model.
Dr. Rafy Gutiérrez's book is a timely response to this urgent need. Rafy has done an outstanding job of distilling key biblical principles for cultivating healthy fatherhood. What I appreciate most about this resource is that, while God's Word is eternal, applying it faithfully today requires understanding the world in which our children are growing up. Rafy has accurately discerned that environment and provides practical, relevant guidance for today's fathers. I wholeheartedly recommend this book as an indispensable resource for the church today.
Samuel Abarca-Pastor, Youth Ministry

"The Family Conference, with Rafy as the keynote speaker, challenged us to fulfill the biblical role of men as leaders in their homes. The church is not immune to the challenges facing Latin America regarding the lack of male leadership in the family, and each session gave us an opportunity to examine our own lives and households and to take responsibility for the role God has entrusted to us as men.
In that pursuit, I have personally begun studying his book, which has already led me to a meaningful time of self-examination. I have no doubt it will be a blessing to both me and my family.
I thank God for this ministry and for the important work it is doing."
Reynaldo Aragón - Alliance for LIfe and Family

"The Family Conference we held here in Lima has been a tremendous blessing. Dr. Rafy Gutiérrez's sessions on the role and responsibility of fathers in educating, protecting, and shepherding their families—especially their children—have been both timely and deeply encouraging. His teaching reminds us of the importance of fulfilling the God-given responsibility entrusted to fathers according to His design, particularly in the midst of a culture and society that continually seeks to undermine and weaken that vital role."
Carlos M. Farmers Branch, TX

“In a world where raising our children has become an increasingly challenging task, parents must navigate a host of obstacles, including digital distractions, social media platforms, peer pressure, shifting moral standards, the rejection of traditional Christian values, and the growing reality of absent fathers stemming from broken families. These are just some of the challenges facing those who desire to build a Christ-centered family today.
How can we protect, guide, equip, and teach our children to stand firm in their faith amid the pressures of today's culture?
I have found that In the Image of the Father provides practical, relevant, understandable, and biblically grounded principles that can be applied in everyday life. It reminds us that our role as stewards is to plant, cultivate, nurture, and guide our wives, children, and families in ways that glorify God. We do this by modeling unconditional love, consistent discipline, grace, forgiveness, and intentional discipleship, while never falling into the mistaken belief that providing material possessions can ever replace our God-given responsibility to build a strong, stable, Christ-centered family.
Simply put, In the Image of the Father calls us back to the foundational biblical principles of fatherhood. At the same time, it highlights the invaluable role that the Christian community plays in supporting parents as they raise their children.
Children are a heritage from the Lord, and our calling is to present them back to Him by helping them develop a strong relationship with their Heavenly Father through faith, prayer, and meditation on His Word.
The goal of Christian parents is to raise children who know, love, and serve God, who understand and embrace the truth of Scripture, and who delight in living according to it.
Serving and glorifying God through fatherhood rooted in biblical principles is one of the greatest expressions of faithful stewardship.”
Marlon R. Farmers Branch, TX

“[In our men's ministry], we recently began studying the lessons from the book (A la Imagen del Padre), and it has been a tremendous blessing. It has helped me realize that there are many things I need to restore in my home. I've come to understand that I must change and correct many areas of my life in order to become the shepherd my family truly needs.
Thank you very much, brother. May God bless you and continue to guide everything you do."
Franklin Ramirez, Lead Pastor- Iglesia Alianza Cristiana y Misionera Villa El Salvador, Perú.

It was a tremendous blessing to welcome Dr. Rafael Gutiérrez to our Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Villa El Salvador. His message on the role of technology in the family was clear, relatable, and filled with practical, biblical guidance that parents can apply in their daily lives.
Now more than ever, parents need to learn how to guide their children in a world surrounded by screens—helping them use technology wisely while establishing healthy boundaries that protect them and foster their spiritual, emotional, and personal growth.
We are deeply grateful to Dr. Rafael Gutiérrez for investing his time to share this valuable teaching with our church. We pray that God will continue to bless his life and ministry and that this message will bear lasting fruit in every family that had the privilege of hearing it.
